Tiptoeing Through The Tulips in the Willamette Valley, Oregon
Got cabin fever from so much Oregon rain? Put on your mud boots and bring your camera for a spring afternoon in the fields of the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, late March through April. The fields come alive in a vibrant panoply of colors, from the expected yellows and reds to some truly surprising color combinations and shapes. Located an hour south of Portland, visitors can also enjoy games for kids including duckie races and lasso-throwing, and on a clear day you may get a peek at towering Mt. Hood.
