Seeing Serious Theater in Williamstown, Massachusetts
If your life isn’t providing you with enough drama, get thee to The Williamstown Theater Festival in rural Williamstown, Massachusetts. This intense, theater jubilee known as Summer Stock, runs June through August and has been a compulsory summer destination for theater enthusiasts since the late 50’s. Some of this years anticipated shows are “Beyond Therapy” by Christopher Durang, directed by Alex Timbers, “The Atheist,” “She Loves Me” and The “Three Sisters.” Catch a star in an intimate setting; some of the previous actors have included Gwenyth Paltrow, James Naughton, Dianne Wiest, Blythe Danner, Olympia Dukakis and Bebe Nuwurth. Performances are held at the Center for Theatre and Dance of Williams College.
