Located along the boardwalk in one of the state’s most eclectic and fanciful tourist destinations, On the Waterfront Cafe is a welcome respite from that ever-present, played-out "rollerblading guitar guy." Although it may be difficult to find a seat or two on a regular summer weekend afternoon, the cajoling and elbow pushing required is well worth it. For once seated, one can people watch, admire chic body tattoos, make connections with table neighbors, try one of the specialty brews, or grab a bite all while under the perfect California sun. Catering to a younger crowd, On the Waterfront Café has something for everyone.
