The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, in Orlando, Florida, takes total immersion to a whole new level with a sensory-overload-inducing combination of moving, motion based ride simulator, 3-D film, and live special effects. Electro, Doctor Octopus, and Hydro-Man wreak havoc, “shocking” the car, shooting water, and, ultimately, tossing the car into the sewer. Experience near misses, skyscraper climbing, and a 400-foot simulated freefall (rescued by Spidey’s web). Walking out, you’ll want to sling silk, walk on webs, and use your newly heightened spider senses.
