Lounging Above the Streets of Playa del Carmen at Ula Gula, Mexico
As night owls come out to prowl the streets for another night, Playa del Carmen becomes lively—and much louder. At open-air Ula Gula, take in the view of the crowds: order a cocktail, nibble on small plates or sushi, admire the splashes of green on the walls, and survey the scene over the ledge. No matter where you are, you've got a prime view of bustling Playa below. But if you're not interested in what's going down on the streets, sit at the bar and mingle with hip locals—with a martini in hand.
