Sipping Jo at the Best Coffee Shop in Boulder, Colorado
Famous for creaky floors, good coffee and tea at reasonable prices, horrible pastries, eclectic regulars, great people watching, and talented (if not sometimes a bit uppity) baristas, the Trident Booksellers and Cafe has been doling out that quintessential Boulder community vibe since 1982. More akin to coffee houses in Europe or NYC than to the sanitized corporate chains, the Trident is unique. Expect a left slant from the bookstore and patrons alike… But isn’t that Boulder? Come enjoy the smell of old books, sitting next to an interesting stranger (limited space dictates coziness), and the sounds of patrons’ feet on wooden floors. Free wifi? Yes, but outlets are scarce.
