Using the River Thames to Get Around in London, England
While the "tube" (London's subway) is a fast and convenient way to get around the UK's capital city, if you want to try something a little different, take a ride on one of the Thames Clippers high-speed ferries. It may cost a little bit more, but the experience of riding the river Thames as it snakes through London is well worth the money. You'll pass underneath the city's bridges, including the famous Tower Bridge, and see London's iconic landmarks from a unique perspective. On board you'll find drinks, snacks, toilet facilities, and plenty of comfortable seats. With their "river roamer" ticket, you can hop on and hop off all day long, hanging out on the back deck and just watching the city go by.
