Studying Under the Watchful Eye of Victory in Columbus, Ohio
Upon entering Thompson Library, you are greeted with a mix of classical and utilitarian design, with the glass-enclosed book stacks rising up through the middle of different study spaces, drawing your eye up to the eleventh floor. From the top, there's an impressive view of campus and Columbus in general. Lower floors are more for students and provide an array of study environments; from the West Reading Room, surrounded by great glass windows and bathed in natural light, to the silent Grand Reading Room where students are supervised by a replica of Winged Victory.
