Basking in the Glow of the City of Gold in Dubai
Located right next door to the kilometre-high spire of Burj Dubai, and the Dubai Mall, the 63-floor Address Downtown Burj Dubai hotel is the City of Gold's equivalent of a cosy inn. A cosy inn with eight bars and restaurants, seven swimming pools and 196 elegant rooms. All the hotel's rooms are modishly decked out in contemporary muted colourways 'inspired by the landscapes of Arabia' (stone, sea, sand, sunset—you get the picture). The wonderfully decadent Spa Suites are our favourite option for cooler months, as their terraces have daybeds, dining tables, and an alfresco soaking tub for making the most of the Persian Gulf views.
