Taking Advantage of Tradewinds in Barbados
The ocean off of Barbados is warm and the waves are a little wild (thanks to incessant tradewinds), but you couldn't be happier cruising down a wave at Surfer's Point, where you were sent by the guys at Zed's Surfing Adventures in Christ Church. The lifestyle is mellow on this far-eastern Caribbean island, but the consistent batches of warm waves are dictated by a panoply of groundswells rustled up by hurricanes, cold fronts, and Atlantic storms further North.
