Queuing for the Best Barbecue in Texas
If you want to eat the best BBQ in Texas, you’d better get in line because Snow's BBQ in Lexington, Texas is only open Saturday mornings. Starting at 8 a.m., people line up out the door, down the porch, and across the lawn of the tiny wooden house just to get a taste of the legendary meat. Once they run out, that’s it until next week. The friendly couple in front of us had driven for hours that morning after seeing the restaurant featured on TLC’s Best Food Ever series. Snow’s was also proclaimed “The best place to eat Texas barbeque” by Texas Monthly in 2008. The meat, served on butcher paper with all the white bread, beans, pickles, onions, and jalapeños you can eat, was definitely worth the wait.
