Skinny Dipping in Fifth Water Hot Springs in Spanish Fork, Utah
Baring all in Fifth Water Spring warrants some discretion. “Although Nudity is not prohibited on Forest Service Land” a sign proclaims near the springs, “this trail is frequented by boy scout and church groups.” For ample soaking privacy, visit the hot springs during weekdays and late at night. To find the springs take the 2.5-mile trail from the Three Forks trailhead in Diamond Fork Canyon. Follow the sulfur-scented air to an impressive series of natural and man-made pools. A gorgeous waterfall provides the backdrop for the upper pools. Stay at one of the scenic camp spots lining the trail close to the springs to a make a night of it.
