When you think about a "Safari", Texas may not be the first thing that comes to mind, but this exciting adventure is exactly what you get to experience at the Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch. This 126 acre wild animal refuge with the funny name is the home of many rescued exotic and endangered animals. Close interactions between visitors and animals are encouraged by the caring staff and the safari tram ride through the animal filled pastures brings you up close and personal with friendly creatures. Smiling camels, hopping kangaroos, leaping lemurs, and even a zorse (yes, a zorse!) all seem to enjoy the visits as much as their human counterparts do!
