Hiding From Your Arch-Nemesis at Seven Virtues in Portland, Oregon
A loft-like coffee shop, complete with tall ceilings, wood floors, and exposed brick, just might be the perfect hideout from your arch-nemesis: Procrastination the Terrible. While the comfy seating arrangement in front at Seven Virtues gives a good excuse to lounge, the absolutely impressive number of outlets (one at nearly every table) gives an even better excuse to stay plugged in and working—as do the tables themselves, each stamped with a virtue that stares you in face should you look away from your paper, novel, or other dreaded task. Fuel up as needed with Stumptown or Intelligentsia when your resolve weakens. You just might beat Procrastination yet.
