There are still reasons to stop and look up. The familiar phrase "stop and smell the roses" is cliche and often brushed aside. But, as a creature of habit myself, a person addicted and comforted by routine and planning, I too often forget to stop and look up. All too frequently fail to make the take time to appreciate the blessing that nature and natural wonders are. Forget to give thanks for how much they can teach me about the need to simply slow down, and take in the little things, soak in the fading light of the day.
