Grabbing a Sandwich To Go From Sacha Finkelsztajn in Paris
If you're a tourist in Paris, the odds quite strong are that you'll find yourself fainting from hunger and trapped at one of the overpriced, touristy lunch spots surrounding the city's super-museums. Instead, plan ahead and bring lunch from Sacha Finkelsztajn, a family-run Jewish bakery and deli that has been going strong in the Marais since 1946. The perfect sandwich to ward off hypoglycemia during a marathon session at the Louvre: paper-thin pickel fleish (corned beef) layered atop briny pickles and eggplant "caviar" and sandwiched into an exotic twisted bagel.
