On a stroll through Rocky Neck Art Colony, you can see artistic inspiration past, present, and future. Nineteenth-century artists and writers gathered here, and generations have followed. You may find yourself looking at a landscape, sure you’ve seen it before—and you could be right if you’ve seen the works of Fitz Hugh Lane, Winslow Homer, or Edward Hopper (among many others). You may find yourself looking at a painting or drawing in one of the many galleries and swear that you passed that very subject just a few minutes earlier.
