Ridge Vineyards

Breathing deep in the heart of the Santa Cruz mountains I was delighted as this scene presented itself at Ridge Winery. This is a place where the beauty begs for recording, where the sun and soil create the perfect vines. The only sense of connection to an urban setting is the wires passing by. These vineyards are a sacred place to me, interrupted only by the rising wind, or the rising and setting of the sun and moon. The unique beauty and spirituality at the Ridge Wineries on Montebello Road cannot help but create incredible vines- and wines. I came upon this scene walking through the vineyards and it took my breath away. You can feel the essence of magic at work here, through the sun and clouds, the colors and connection. Few places have touched my photographer's eye in their majesty and promise as the sun and sky bless these vines.
