Hiking the Rainforest at Parque Nacional Corcovado, Costa Rica
Hike the trails of Corcovado National Park and see the immense diversity of Costa Rican ecology. Serious trekkers willing to bear the heat and humidity are rewarded with up-close views of abundant wildlife like the boa constrictor, brilliant forest frog, howler monkey, vampire bat, white-faced monkey, and many more. The park is open to the public, so you can go it alone, or hire a guide for an organized outing. Note: most animal sightings take place close to the coast.
