Discovering a Coffee Sweet Spot in Boulder, Colorado
When I don’t need a shot of pretension in my cappuccino, I opt to get my caffeinated kicks at Ozo Coffee. No berets and black turtlenecks here, just some jamming tunes pouring from the speakers and inky espresso pouring from the machines. Ozo is manned by a talented group of baristas who call you "Darlin’" and aren’t above sharing their sea of knowledge at the free tastings they host Friday afternoons at 2pm. The joint sports more tables and outlets than the average café and won’t frown upon you unpacking your laptop and settling in for an hour or two. Pastries and juices round out the selection, and you can breathe in the fresh mountain air if you manage to snag a chair out front. It's where the tea breads are rich, the colors are bright, and the coffee is perfection.
