Lagos is an ancient maritime town. These days it's better known as international party central where English is spoken more than Portuguese and the beer flows until the wee hours at spots like the infamous Joe's Garage. Situated in the Algarve, one of Europe's favorite holiday spots, the town is blessed with year-round sun and gorgeous beaches. But the center of Lagos is all about the party come nightfall when the wild dance clubs and bars fill up and go all night.
