Dropping Anchor in the Endzone in Annapolis, Maryland
From the moment you enter Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, you can feel the undertow drawing you towards the field. Make your way through the hustle and bustle of the class reunions of naval heroes and find your seat to claim your temporary piece of Blue and Gold. A hush falls over the football fans as the Brigade of Midshipmen finishes its walk from the Academy in downtown to the stadium, always in exact formation. Silence builds until the entire stadium sings out "Anchors Aweigh" and the cannons boom the kick-off of another perfectly patriotic Saturday of football in Annapolis.
