Moving Through History in Glasgow, Scotland
Gypsy caravans, modern day police cars, vintage Volkswagens, a train car that carried royalty to the Scottish Highlands, early motorcycles, toy cars, trams that once ran the streets of Glasgow, and models of the huge ocean liners that once carried the name and craftsmanship of the city on the Clyde around the world: you will find all this at Glasgow's Museum of Transport. Bringing all this together, and almost hidden in the midst of the museum, is an interactive set of exhibits that allows you to take on the identity of a Glaswegian of times past and see the choices you’d have faced as you planned and paid for getting to work, going on a holiday, or visiting your sister in another town.
