Playing Jurassic Park Disc Golf in Tempe, Arizona
The urban chaos of the Phoenix metro area is no match for the tranquil outing you'll have on the disc golf course in Moeur Park. Unless, of course, you throw your disc into what the locals call Jurassic Park (a thicket that is known to ‘eat’ discs). Another hazard is the gargantuan palm tree with a huge head of hair (palm fronds) that the locals call Tina Turner… not to mention the dreaded creek (yes, it has water in it in the summer, creating a very formidable and unlikely trap). This nine hole desert course, designed, built, and maintained by a dedicated group of locals, is challenging, rewarding, and just plain fun.
