Dancing Until Dawn in Atlanta, Georgia
All of the in-the-know locals take their evening fun to MJQ Concourse. Themed dance nights take over the dark, two-room club, where indie deejays share the booth with more famous names and hip-hop moves mix with rock and roll struts on the crowded dance floor. MJQ likes to keep its presence low-key despite the party inside, so there’s no sign, but it’s marked by the line that wraps around the underground club (literally underground! Cell phone reception is not an option once you're there.) at around one a.m. It's worth the wait - especially on Wednesdays. While you're there, check out The Drunken Unicorn venue for upcoming shows. They share a roof with MJQ, and they share stellar taste in music, too.
