Families, bikers, and daredevils alike will all cross paths along the Tenmile Trail from Copper to Frisco. Whether taking a break from driving, an afternoon cruise, or looking for a solid rush of adrenaline, the Copper to Frisco section of the trail offers something for everyone. Calmly cruise the first 1.5 miles on what ever transportation you chose: bike, board, blades, foot. Pass ponds filled with luscious trout and an army of hissing geese protecting their young ones; maybe catch a glimpse of a marmot having a playful swim. But don't be caught off-guard...the fun is just around the corner! Don't be surprised to see bikers or a daring longboarder cruise down these hills at 25-40 mph. Enjoy the beauty all around: aspens, pines, and firs, old mining remains and most importantly, the fresh mountain air and hot mountain sunshine hidden next to the 1-70 corridor.

Millbrook village, old historical village from 1850's. Several old structures, tools, workers (that are very helpful with history), creeks. Lots of photograph opportunities. this one is full of bright colors, old bridge, shadows and the brightness from the sun. It captures one of the many beautiful settings in this village. I went on a day when there wasn't a crowd, the ranger was able to open several of the buildings for us and give us more access to some of the "rustic" tools and equipment used back in the day.
