Sifting through Vintage Threads at Miami Twice in Miami, Florida
Looking for a Civil-War-era wooden table? How about a 1930s slot machine, a 1970s polyester shirt, some 1940s Bakelite jewelry, or any issue of Life Magazine ever published? If so, pop into Miami Twice. In 1983, when Diane Kyle opened the shop, it exclusively carried antique and vintage items. Now it also stocks new lines of retro-inspired clothing. Trying to guess what’s truly old and what’s meant to look old among the mishmash of hats, jewels, shoes, and dresses is amusing in itself. Of course, nothing beats trying it all on. So plunge into the time warp; you just might find an authentic Members Only jacket for that 80s party you’ve been planning.
