Waiting for the Bus Where Caesar Died in Rome, Italy

If you’re visiting Rome chances are you’ll pass by Largo Argentina, a transfer hub for many city buses. And, if you’ve been in Rome for more than, oh, about an hour, you might not glance twice about the sunken ruins overrun by cats that are the centerpiece of this large open square. But before you hurry off to catch that bus, take a moment to notice those crumbling steps—it's where Julius Caesar met his end, stabbed to death by traitorous members of his own senate.
