Pressing Apples Into Cider at Kennebec Cider in Winthrop, Maine
Try something new with your apples! The young farmers at Kennebec Cider have a cider press that you can use, by appointment in the fall, for making fresh cider for drinking or pressing apples to make into hard cider or vinegar. While there, you can stroll through the small orchard, visit the brewing space, and even buy a bottle of Kennebec traditional hard cider or ice cider, both made on site with local fruit. There is a refreshing taste of apple (and some bubbles!) in each pretty bottle, along with the added benefit of feeling great about supporting a small, local farm!
