Ogling Fluorescent Ferraris in Geneva, Switzerland
Every year several abandoned brand new luxury sports cars in the season’s hottest colors are found littering the sidewalks of Geneva. Harbingers of the close of the Fetes de Genève, these opulent sarcophagi are the discarded play toys of wealthier-than-kings Gulf Country tourists who have just spent the month hobnobbing around the city. The trashy carnival rides, summertime fondues and overpriced-trinket-selling booths lining Lake Geneva can be missed. Even the float-boasting parade with truck-bound DJs is no Love Parade rival. But it is truly a sight to witness the Swiss streets burgeoning with oil barons slipping in and out of their day-glo yellow Lamborghinis.
