Polishing Off the Earth in a Few Slurps in San Francisco, California
You're a mess. It's a miracle that Grubstake would even let riffraff like you through the door. The heavy hills, torrential rain, bush and alley dwellers during your global trek have whipped your food- and booze-battered frame to rickety exhaustion. What you want now is sleep. What you need now is caldo verde, a kale-based Portuguese stew of pureed potatoes, linguiƧa, and olive oil built to shovel steam back into your engine. Unfortunately, you're not in Portugal and it's three AM. Luckily, you are in San Francisco, the only city on earth where you can consume petite pieces of the entire planet in a single, seven-mile evening.
