Finding Exotic and Rare Plants in Fullerton, California
Inside the crowded and hectic Orange County area of southern California, there's a tranquil 26-acre garden oasis: the Fullerton Arboretum. In addition to a collection of over 4,000 plants, trees, shrubs, cacti, herbs, and fruits, this botanical museum also features two ponds, a stream, waterfall, and native wildlife. With an authentic Victorian cottage on site, many weddings and social gatherings also routinely take place. Opening in 1979, this refuge inspires many residents in the designing and planting of their own gardens. The Arboretum also serves as an educational resource in ecology, horticulture, and plant diversity. Visitors are encouraged to buy unique plants from The Potting Shed, and gardening gifts from the Gift and Garden Shop. Entrance is free (donations are welcomed!) and the parking is also free.
