Hearing the Tales of a Devilish Mountain in Berlin, Germany
There's a mountain on the outskirts of West Berlin with a rather curious past. This hill in Grunewald, which was built by the allies from the post-WWII rubble of Berlin, has undergone major changes over the past 70 years. It started out being a Nazi military-technical college, turned into a US Spystation, was abandoned and overrun by wild boar, and recently much of the land was bought by none other than David Lynch. Due to legal issues, the director's plans to build an "invincible" university on the site have been postponed, providing the possibility to secretly visit the ruins of the listening station and luring the curious to have a closer look at the "Teufelsberg" (Devil's Mountain).
