Upon entering Fair Park you immediately know this is no ordinary park. Originally built in 1936 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Texas Republic with a world's fair in Dallas, today it is a mecca of cultural, educational, and sports facilities that hosts more than 7 million visitors a year. The beautiful art deco buildings, fountains, lagoons, gardens, museums, amusement venues, performance venues, and landmarks give everyone, young and old, something to enjoy. Fair Park, just another example of how things are bigger and better in Texas!
