Tuning In to the Next Big Thing in Temple Bar, Dublin
By night Temple Bar is transformed, and not necessarily for the best. Tourists and teenagers love it. But plenty of other people will tell you it's overrated—that it's nothing but overflowing pubs, hen parties, and pools of vomit and urine. Yet despite the pretty picture they paint, the area is famous for its nightlife and it must be sampled. In particular, Eamon Doran's—free in and heavy on the tunes. Don't be fooled by the dark and dreary interior: it's one of the most famous music venues in Dublin, especially for new and up-and-coming bands.
