Feather Bowling at the Cadieux Cafe in Detroit, Michigan
Feather bowling, the Belgian cousin of curling and bocce, involves rolling a piece of wood that faintly resembles a wheel of cheese down a dirt-covered lane towards a feather planted in the ground. There's only one place you can play the game in the US and that's the Cadieux Café in Detroit. Rules are simple: the person whose wheel is closest to the feather at the end of the round wins. Drink Belgian beer and rock out to live bands while you play and make the loser spring for a post-game pot of delicious steamed mussels, the house specialty.
