Buying Irish Whiskey at the Celtic Whiskey Shop in Dublin
"A drop of the craythur"—throwing modern childcare norms out the window, my Irish grandparents always put a little shot in my hot toddy any time I had a bad cold. Known around the world for its smooth, soothing, and unctuous qualities, Irish Whiskey comes in many forms—pure pot still, pure grain, single malt, double distilled, triple distilled, peated. The Celtic Whiskey Shop carries them all, not to mention a world-class selection of rare and collectible vintages (and Scottish Whisky). Look for hard-to-find, pure-pot whiskeys like the Green Spot and Red Breast. The shop also organizes tastings and "master classes" (not sure what these entail, but I like the sound of them).
