Unwinding at Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is consistently named one of Florida’s best beaches, yet it’s still one of Miami’s best-kept secrets. Pitch your umbrella in the sand, cast a line off the seawall into Biscayne Bay, or launch your kayak or canoe. You can also rent a bicycle and meander through the mangrove wetlands and have a leisurely waterfront lunch at the Lighthouse Café or Boater's Grill. Afterwards, climb to the top of the historic lighthouse and learn more about the site’s part in the Underground Railroad. If you come by boat, you can even boat camp overnight in No Name Harbor.
