Salsa Dancing in a Psychedelic Fantasy World in Bogotá, Colombia
In a city known for the strange and quirky, it takes something bizarre to stand apart, yet Bogotá's Andrés Carne de Res does just that. The restaurant/nightclub is a living, breathing artistic experiment that assaults the senses and challenges perceptions of reality. Brilliantly illuminated windmills surround the building, casting a swirling electric glow onto the muses, angels, fairies, and other costumed characters that roam the grounds. The walls, adorned with countless pieces of original art, pulsate with life, while each table itself is a work of creativity. The food is excellent, but the action really begins at night when Andrés turns into a wild, gyrating party where Bogota's beautiful dance in this world of imagination.
