Nestled in Scottsdale, Arizona’s Camelback Corridor is The Parlor Pizzeria, a recently opened spot that is garnering national accolades for both its take on pizza as well as its modern sustainable design. From perfect thin crust pizzas to robust salads, the dining alone is reason enough to pay a visit. But throw in the restaurant’s atmosphere, and there’s no reason you shouldn’t be gunning to check out The Parlor. Owner Aric Mei knows what he’s doing: his family has been running Valley mainstay Nello’s Pizza for over 25 years. Now, however, he’s the one calling the shots.

Located in a city known for being "liberal to the point of lunacy" one has the opportunity to visit a place where the food is what you see is what you get. Sit down in a booth and have yourself some coffee and try the Village French Toast. Let the worries of tomorrow slip away in the simplicity of the moment. Be sure to tell the waitress if it's your first time there...they will be happy to celebrate your arrival!
