Archived Introduction

Our theme this week is water in all its many manifestations--oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, waterfalls, geysers, hot springs, oceans--even human-made bodies of water like pools, fountains, and aquariums. As always, if your favorite aquatic spot isn't on our list, send it to suggestions@trazzler.com and an editor will respond within 24 hours (and stay tuned, soon it will be even easier to add new places on our new iPhone app).

Prizes: $100 writing contract, $100 photography contract, and, for our best West Coast writing and photography entries (WA, OR, CA, or NV), two getaways to Lake Tahoe, one of America's most beautiful bodies of water.
